Bealtaine Painting Classes

Taking place on Thursday mornings (10.30am-Noon)throughout May 2013, the Bealtaine Painting Classes will explore traditional painting, drawing, and patchwork techniques and will be led by a different artist each week. Comprising of a 1/2 hour tour of the gallery and 1 hour-long class, these classes will draw from particular artists in the Gallery’s collection and are aimed towards older particpants in celebration of Bealtaine 2013. Each class will cost €20 and will run every Thursday through out May 2013, from 10.30am-12noon
Thursday 2 May 2013, 10.30am-12noon, Focus on William Leech and Walter Osborne, led by artist Mary Noonan
Thursday 9 May 2013, 10.30am-12noon, Sean Scully Patchwork Workshop, led by artist Ashleigh Downey
Thursday 16 May 2013, 10.30am-12noon, Focus on Mainie Jellett and Evie Hone, led by artist Ann Minehane Armstrong
Thursday 23 May 2013, 10.30am-12noon, Focus on Paul Henry and Mary Swanzy, led by artist Beth O'Halloran
Thursday 30 May 2013, 10.30am-12noon, Focus on Jack B. Yeats and Sean Keating, led by artist Peter Burns
